This specialization makes it possible to restore old buildings, in order to make them functional and respectful of market requirements, while retaining their cachet. Century-old buildings are very well constructed, yet they have often been neglected for decades. It is quite a challenge to refurbish them in accordance with today's needs (ventilation, fire, networking, etc.) while maintaining the building's period elegance.
